Beta terms.
These terms apply to the free, prerelease eaSplit beta.
Beta software
eaSplit is prerelease software provided for evaluation and feedback. It may contain defects, change substantially, or stop being available. Do not rely on it for critical workflows without a fallback.
Permission to use
You may install and use this beta on Macs you control for personal or internal evaluation. You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, or misrepresent the beta as your own product, except where applicable law does not allow a restriction.
Feedback
Feedback is optional. If you provide it, eaSplit’s developer may use it to improve the product without payment or obligation. Do not include confidential material or personal data in feedback.
No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and without warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending beta access
You may stop using the beta at any time by quitting and removing it. Beta access may also be ended or replaced by a later build. The privacy page explains which local data can remain after removal.
